Kitchen Remodel with Marble Inlay in Wood floor We came into this kitchen and completely gutted it down to the bare wall studs and floor joists. All new water supply and drain lines were installed. A new wood sub-floor was installed along with new walls. We framed in a beveled tray ceiling that drops down to meet the top of the cabinets. We installed all of the cabinets, counter tops, back splash and flooring. The floor has a 10" X 10" Turkish Travertine, with a red oak border installed in a basket-weave pattern. It was then grouted with epoxy grout and ground in place.
